Daud Bandagi Junior School was established in 1981 for boys and girls from Nursery to Class Five. A new purpose built school was constructed and opened in 2009 on a site beside the Boys High School. Currently there are 400 students attending this school.
Daud Bandagi Boys High School. (Shergarh. +92 044 4631129)
The Daud Bandagi Boys High School was established in 1991 for boys from Class Six to Class Ten. It was built in 1992 on a new site on the edge of Sher Garh on the road towards Akhtarabad. Currently there are 170 students studying at this school.
Daud Bandagi Girls High School. (Shergarh. +92 044 4631056)
Daud Bandagi Girls High School is located on the mosque site in the centre of Sher Garh. At present there are 160 students studying at this school.
AKRA Village Schools of the Rural Education Programme.
AKRA now oversees the running of 19 primary schools in the villages surrounding Sher Garh. Some schools are just outside the town centre while others are as far as 35 kilometres from the town. The schools vary in size between 37 and 205 students with a total enrolment of approximately 2,000 students in all.
